Pirates Everywhere!

Arr!
Ahoy Mattes! Sit back and watch ye movie from hours ago

Pirates acrostic!
Pirates sail across the sea
 Invading islands and ships
Riches fill their chests
Another pirate ship they want
Trust not a man with a peg

It's raining!

Hi you all!
It's raining and maybe you don't know what to do at home.
Don't worry!
2nd graders are expert at this topic!
They can tell you some activities to do on rainy days so you don't get bored:
  • get a board game and play with family
  • cook something
  • draw a picture
  • watch a home movie
  • play with your pet
  • go outside and dance in the rain (as the cloud in the video below)
  • go to an indoor pool
  • Try to come up with your own ideas, why not?
Let me finish with a quote I love:
"Let the rain kiss you.
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops.  Let the rain sing you a lullaby".

Saint Antoni's Day Celebration

Here we have St. Antoni's Day!
Are you going to participate in the procession? Nevertheless, if you want to have fun, you can't lose the procession in the afternoon.
We will see lots of horses from different "colles".
In the english lessons, we are learning the actions that horses do and also new vocabulary about them.
Besides that, we have discovered fun facts about them:
. They can sleep both lying down and standing up.
. Their lifespan is around 25 years.
. They have around 205 bones in their skeleton.
. For ending, we have learnt and PRACTICE some actions they can do:
walk, trot, run and gallop.
