1st grade

Hi everyone!
1st graders feel confident with some land animals. We have worked them through a story, a song and some role-plays.
From now on, we will work on the sea animals because they are just running a new project about that topic.
So, I want to share with all of you a great visual resource to learn some animals in the sea.

They also are learning a new rhyme for their games.

I invite mothers, fathers and grandparents to spend some time with their children watching cartoons: a pleasant experience that will be enjoyed with curiosity.
This is the first chapter of Hocus, a little Dinocroc who's going to be a good friend for the little ones.

Have a look at this video. You will check farm animals

Here you have the songs we sing at the beginning of the English morning lessons.
Here you have the lyrics:

GOOD MORNING
GOOD MORNING
GOOD MORNING TO YOU.
GOOD MORNING
GOOD MORNING
GOOD MORNING, HOW ARE YOU?
I'M FINE, THANKS
I'M FINE, THANKS
I'M FINE, THANK YOU.
GOOD MORNING
GOOD MORNING
GOOD MORNING TO YOU.

With this one we usually make a circle and we mime the actions the song says. CI English scrapbooks include this one.

These are funny songs to introduce some opposites.
Don't worry if you are an adult. I like as well so, I invite everybody to follow these cute songs.

Hi everybody!

As you know, the way children learn a new language is very important.
Games are extremely significant for them.
Because of this reason, we use funny activities in the english lessons.
The next one is a good example:
they can practice phonetics through a topic and a game (building a train ).
They have enjoyed a lot with this food train chant
Let's listen to it and let's play with them to reinforce english at home!
