Music everywhere!

Hi there, we have some free days to switch off from school but before going away, I want to share a ppt I designed for a new future project: Musical Instruments and children. Here you have some new vocabulary to work with students before, during or after a music project.

After that, here you have a quizlet to practise music vocabulary

For ending, try this Matching activity to organize your orchestra.

After receiving some warm and kind comments, I want to thank you all your support.
Have an excellent Easter break and charge your batteries for the 3rd term!

Learning having fun

People who came to my workshop in APAC ELT convention last February listened to me talking about introducing surprises and new styles of teaching in our lessons. One of them, was to give musical versions to poems, vocabulary and verbs as well. Here you have a good example.

Carnival time

This is a video we have to keep in touch with
"Le Carnaval des Animaux"
Listen to Camille Saint-Saen's piece of music and tried to identify which pieces of music represented the animals and why.
Then we learnt the vocabulary for type of animal, colour and adjectives to describe them.
