2012: a leap year

Why do leap years exist?
Leap Years are needed to keep our calendar in alignment with the Earth's revolutions around the sun. It takes the Earth approximately 365.242199 days – or 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, and 46 seconds (a tropical year) – to circle once around the Sun.
The last leap year was in 2008 and it was Friday. The next will be in 2016 and it will be Monday!

MY PERSONAL WISH for 2012

This video is the one I used in my presentation about Catalonia in Latvia, in the ETSize project in March 2011.
It's made by a catalan editor, Ester Bertran, a friend who wanted to explain that life is full of obstacles, but you have to overcome them and look forward the life with optimism.
