Many weeks ago my students were talking about media social words and profiles. When I listened to them talking about that issue, I thought of doing an activity with them. Did they know what are they? Did they have accounts in social networks? Did they know the rules they have to follow and respect?
Here you have a proposal for talking and interacting among them.
After that, they were finding out about new words, as trending, viral and hashtag and they could describe the first one as a popularity fact, the second as something that people like and share and the third one as a keyboard of a tweet.
For homework they had to write a text about mobile phones and teenagers. They were amazing!
