Digital Identity

Introduction: We are going to work with Primary students. They are young teenagers so we will introduce them into a safe site: eTwinning network.
Level: 5th grade
Subject: English
Goal: to use the eTwinning network to communicate with different primary students in other countries. They will learn to design a European identity for sharing different interests among the teenagers. Also we will practise the foreign language.
Methodology: First of all, there will be the first contact among students through padlet saying the name and where they are from. Then, the teacher will ask students to give basic information for sharing in a network. They are primary students, so they will give name, where they are from, where they live and their age. Also their likes and dislikes. Finally each of them will say one thing they are good at. After that, they will create a voki and introduce the description of themselves. They will upload in eTwinning network.

     eTwinning network
eTwinning is the community for schools in Europe. eTwinning offers a platform for staff (teachers, head teachers, librarians, etc.), working in a school in one of the European countries involved, to communicate, collaborate, develop projects, share and, in short, feel and be part of the most exciting learning community in Europe. The eTwinning action promotes school collaboration in Europe through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by providing support, tools and services for schools. The eTwinning Portal ( is the main meeting point and workspace for the action. Available in twenty-six languages, the eTwinning Portal now has the involvement of nearly 230 277 members and over 5462 projects between two or more schools across Europe. The Portal provides online tools for teachers to find partners, set up projects, share ideas, exchange best practice and start working together, immediately using various customised tools available on the eTwinning platform.

That is my project. Hope you find it interesting and useful for sharing with the world.

Here you have useful tools. They will be used with eTwinning network

How can I improve my way of teaching?
What are my worries?

One of my main goals is to open my school to Europe and I think that
eTwinning can help me to teach and foster cultural understanding.
Nowadays, children need to be educated in diversity, identity and multiculturalism. It is very important for us to understand that diversity can enrich our enviroment. So, it will be easier if we work it in our lessons because these differences should be understood and appreciated.
And this is what I need in my school life because eTwinning can help to teach and foster cultural understanding.

How do I describe myself?
