St George's Day is celebrated in and around Catalonia!
This celebration coincides with the Fair of the Book and the Rose. The tradition says that every man offers a rose to his love and in return every woman gives a book to her love.
In fact, the book is in memory of Cervantes, the author of
"Don Quijote".

Also, in our school we celebrate "Jocs Florals" each year.
The tradition orders that each child writes a text.
On St. Jordi's Day, the winners have a book and a rose as prizes.
By the way, here you have a story that reminds me a famous one. Pay
